One thing I always credit my creativity to are my parents and five siblings. Growing up in a Northern suburb of Chicago, my siblings and I had enough members to fabricate our own reality. Building snow forts and role-playing innumerable storylines with my siblings is what I believe to be the root of my creativity.
I originally began my time at Tulane in the five-year Bachelor of Architecture program. However, five architecture studios and 400 AXP hours later I decided to broaden my exposure to the fields of design and creation. I am now a dual four-year Architecture, and Digital Media Practices major, with a minor in U.S. Public Policy. This drastic change in what had been my plan since Freshman year of High School, has furnished new opportunities I’ve always secretly wanted to explore.
In addition to being a student of design, I am also a mentor. In 2021 I began working at the Digital Output Lab as a Technical Aid, where I assist fellow students in their own creation. I am also a teaching assistant for a Building, Climate and Comfort class, and the Views Layout Editor for the Tulane Hullabaloo Newspaper.
If I were to have one takeaway from my courses, volunteer service, and work experience it would be to continue exploring new ways in which I can learn, teach, and create.
